Marriage on Mission

Updated: Mar 17, 2021

This episode is special because my husband is coming on the podcast!

Caleb and I met when we were in high school, developed a relationship in college (had our own Love + Basketball story) and then got married when we were 21. I remember when we got married that there were many who doubted us and our decision at such a young age. Originally, when we first started dating, I (very hopefully) also wanted to get married later but it didn't’ take long for that to change and I wanted him all to myself. Life without Caleb just didn't seem possible anymore.

But it definitely came with it’s own unique set of challenges, many of which we will discuss here. In this episode, we discuss some of what we did wrong, a little of what we did right and a LOT about what we have discovered about being a team on mission together for the kingdom of God in our 9 years of marriage. We share some of the systems, rhythms and practices that we have tried to implement to keep our focus on Jesus, including him in all areas of our lives. If you are a single woman or soon to be married or have no interest in getting married at all, I still think you will find some golden nugs in here.
