Tara-Leigh Cobble: How to Read the Bible and Why it's Important

Updated: Mar 17, 2021

I don’t know about you but I have had a very up and down journey with scripture.

There are times that getting into the word is all I want to do but there have also been long stretches of not even knowing where my Bible is. In the past , it has felt very intimidating to me and as someone who wants to perform well, I don’t want to read something that makes me feel like I have one more thing wrong with me. Over time I have definitely been more engaged with scripture and have fallen deeper in love with it. I don’t think that my story is uncommon.

Tara-Leigh’s passion for the Word and HOW it should be used will be an amazing encouragement and reminder for you. She reminds us of what the Bible really is and how it leads to real transformation, not by our own will power but by being in admiration of a loving, perfect God.

In this episode, Tara-Leigh shares her passion for God's Word and gives practical tips on how to read the bible and how it can lead to real transformation.

Tara-Leigh answers questions like...

  • Is there a particular method or process that you use as you dig into scripture?

  • How can we read scripture to not only "check it off the list," but to really grow our faith?

  • How do you interact with God during your time of reading/studying scripture?
