The Discipline of Biblical Joy + The Church and Mental Health

Updated: Mar 17, 2021

Talasi and I discuss her journey to biblical joy as a discipline in her life as a result of a long battle with anorexia, depression and anxiety. She gives us insight into loving someone who is struggling with their mental health, what churches can examine within themselves to make room for those who are struggling and the hope that we can all have in Jesus during difficult times.

Talasi answers questions like...

  1. Why has it been so difficult for us as the church to start talking about mental health that affects so many people?

  2. How do we use biblical joy to build God’s kingdom?

  3. What are the steps to biblical joy?
