Why We've Been Failing the Battle Against Pornography + How the Church Can Step Up
Updated: Mar 17, 2021
The statistics and stories you are going to hear in this episode are going to both encourage you and potentially, shock you.
From the age of a child’s first porn exposure being in the single digits and the impact porn has on the brain TO the hope for all those who struggle with porn addiction or who are in a relationship affected to porn addiction. You are going to leave this episode feeling both armed and deeply encouraged by Rosie and her graceful approach to a difficult discussion.
I have actually met Rosie! She came to the “One Conference” here in Edmonton in January where I was a “Presenter Care” volunteer. Because she was in a separate hotel from the rest of the speakers, I trekked up to see her to give her her welcome package and we ended up having such a lovely conversation. She really is the real deal, so kind and just as wonderful as you imagine her being. So, I was thrilled to have her on the show!
Rosie Makinney is a first time author of the incredible book, “Fight for Love” (which you have the opportunity to WIN!), podcast host of “Fight for Love” and she is the founder of Fight For Love Ministries, “which empowers women with both the facts and the faith to fight against porn addiction and its effects on them, their spouses, and their families.”
